Too Short Tongue Ring

The greeting of Archbishop Bernardo Fabio D'Onorio

Dear,
the eleventh anniversary of the birth centenary of San Nilo offered happy occasion to explore the life and work of the great saint, a bridge between the Christian East and West.

At the same time he did discover the tremendous impact of the work of the Holy Church's life and the town of Gaeta during his ten-year Serapo presence on the Riviera, is that he can rightly be considered and called "cajetanus civis" citizen gaetano.

rightly stressed by these considerations, that's Archdiocese, Parish of St. Nilus and St. Stephen's, civil authorities have laudably engaged in organizing various cultural events, historical and artistic, and so we will know more closer to our Patron.

any complacency on my part and thanks the parish priest Don Antonio Cairo and his capable staff for what they are planning and organizing in honor of the patron, at the same time every hope that all religious, cultural and recreational activities have happy success, both as a tribute to the eminent personalities who will agree with us that as further evidence that hospitality the City of Gaeta knows always offer for centuries.

Various Jubilee celebrations in honor of St. Nilus, who will see the solemn stipulations of town twinning, we do that, with the eyes of the heart, we can all look at our Patron to imitate virtues and examples.

For all worth the exhortation of the Psalmist: "Look at him and be radiant; true for our Church committed to the path of renewal of the Diocesan Synod; applies to the institutions of our city, applies to our families, and especially true for our young people are always looking for truth, beauty and justice.

"Look at him and be radiant!
Both wish, is promised!
